Integration and Automation of Materials Characterization Techniques

(in partnership with Acceleration conference, Vancouver, BC)

The German Canadian Materials Acceleration Centre is hosting a day-long training workshop on Friday August 9, at Accelerate 2024, focused on the “Integration and Automation of Materials Characterization Techniques”. The workshop will feature Prof. Dr.-Ing Helge Stein (TUM), Dr. Robert Black (NRC), Dr. Simon Stier (Fraunhofer), Dr. Kourosh Malek (FZJ), Dr. Süleyman Er (DIFFER), Dr. Pascal Friederich (KIT), Dr. Michael Greenwood (NRCan), and Dr. Payam Kaghazchi (FZJ), and is open to anyone interested in attending. Register your interest directly via Accelerate 2024!

At this event, participants will:

  • Learn transversal skills for automating materials characterization and resultant data collection and management.
  • Form connections with other researchers directly involved in MAPs development in Canada and around Europe
  • Tour MAPs labs and see them in operation, discuss considerations directly with researchers.
